Church ComicsMarvel Comics: industry standard?

It is no secret that Marvel's books are the best selling comics in the U.S. market. Marvel has the highest percentage of market share as it has for many years, just above main rival, DC Comics. But does this mean that Marvel's books are the norm for the industry? Are they the best written and illustrated by better? Are they quite diverse and varied? Do they really captivate readers as that, or is it mainly due to hardcore fans of their characters or creators of purchasing books for that reason alone?

Of course, this is not something that can be easily discernible, even if it can at all. Things like this are largely subjective, and no study in the world could assess the reasons for all book buyers buy Marvel books. But we can watch the market and examine the books produced by Marvel and other companies and develop their own opinion.

Of course, if the opinions are completely polarized between the fans of comic books and Marvel fans of DC Comic books, despise each other. There are many fans who love the books of both companies, mind you, but in general, even the fans have loyalty to a company or another. Then there are those who hate the fans of super hero quite the comic book and choose to make all purchases on the indy market. But so marginal, it is a small group compared to those who are fans of the two superpowers. Even the market share of two largest indy, Image Comics and Dark Horse Comics, while competition, are still well below the mass actions Marvel and DC claim.

But listen to the complaints of fans, at least on the Internet, and sometimes in local comic shops, there are many unhappy customers with the most books of both companies. But since the subject is books Marvel's major crossover events of recent years bare mentioning, as they have gained equal amounts of fame and scorn by the fans of Marvel and non-fans.

Many are sick and tired of the massive crossover scenarios, due to the problems of the 90s, the impression they are just marketing ploys to thinly veiled force readers to buy more books than usual to get the story. Others enjoyed their super-hero comic world to be united and the effects of world events that materializes through all the Marvel books. But most agree, apart from these crosses, and of course the main books (the books of Spider-Man, X-Men Avengers books and books) not much is not it great now it has not been for some time. There are exceptions, such as runaways and the Thunderbolts, but basically it's price standards. Even large structures, such as Uncanny X-Men and The Amazing Spider-Man, which are not great a few years ago by the standards and opinions of many.

So why the books Marvel Outsell all others and remain the dominant brand in American comics? We will never know for sure, but one can guess that a combination of all the reasons mentioned above.

Not very different from that of African Americans felt too long, or even how the Indians felt when their land was stolen. Wolverine and the X-Men suffered the same kind of fanaticism, violence and segregation from the outset. But despite their hardships, they still helped someone they could. Some, like Wolverine, became bitter for a while. But overall, they have lived their lives as best they could, the men are wrong in the process.

Over the years, the X-Men became more accepted by society for a while, but eventually he would come everything collapses. A radical religious group would crucify a part of their ranks, while the majority of the population suddenly impotent mutant and normal. This revived hatred for mutants, because most came to accept their existence, not like her. With the possibility of "no more mutants" a lie.
