Comedy ClassesSeth Rogen Rise From Small Time Stand-up comedy to landing lead roles!

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Seth Rogen has quickly risen to the popularity of his early roles in films like Knocked Up and Superbad. However, when it comes? And more than that, how does the son of two "radical Jewish socialists", as Rogen says, learn to become one of those famous actors?

It all started when he was thirteen. Known for the conduct of parents and teachers crazy with his attempts at humor, he signed for a class of comedy in his hometown. Immediately, Rogen took him and quickly began working on his own material. After a very short period of time, he began to appear in many comedy clubs as well-known Vancouver Lafflines, Punchlines, and others. Finally, after three years' standing, he decided he would venture to America to make a career in stand-up. Rogen won second place in the competition Vancouver Amateur Comedy, sixteen years and who gave him the confidence to venture below the border.

For most of us, however, it is well known for his action. His first experience came on the screen at the age of eleven when he was in some commercials. However, for most players is the big screen they want and Rogen had hopes, too. After hearing only once, he landed a role in the hit TV series "Freaks and Geeks." It was produced by Judd Apatow that he was later to assist and work with many projects to come.

"Freaks and Geeks" was canceled in the middle of the first season and Apatow began a television series on the other hand, "not stated". He cast Rogen in a similar role he played in "Freaks and Geeks" and it lasted a whole season, but was canceled before the second season. Luckily for Rogen, he was in the TV series he received its first major concert writing. Before he was hired to act, he was one of the writers for the show, where he wrote a whole episode to himself and co-author of four others.

His first appearance on the big screen was in 2001 when he had a minor role in Donnie Darko, a film by Jake Gyllenhaal. In 2005, he appeared in the hit movie, 40 Year Old Virgin, Apatow's film was-beginning. This film has been tremendously successful and it helped to land him in the lead role in "crisis pregnancy" movie, Knocked Up. Here he played a lazy web-entrepreneur who, after a long evening at the club, go home with a woman. The result? You guessed it ... a baby. Beginning in September, Rogen is also set to appear in Judd Apatow's next directing effort (working title "Funny People") with Adam Sandler, Eric Bana, Jason Schwartzman, Leslie Mann and Jonah Hill.

However, what happens when a character typical of comedy becomes a chance for something a little more daring? You get the Green Hornet. Known to be on the heavier side, Rogen will bulk up if he will fit into the mantle of super-hero. More importantly, Rogen and his writing partner for a long time, even Goldberg, are responsible for writing the film for the Green Hornet. Thus, with Rogen playing the main character and two by writing to the game screen, some argue that the character of Britt Reid would not be what it should be. Or, more importantly, what it can do with all the blowing up necessary.

Rogen answer? "You must believe I can do a physical activity. You must believe I can do something." Is it good? Then the man who, for most of his life, blew stand-up comedy in a more serious role? Is it really the action potential? He argues that, yes, he can. He has all the intentions in bulk for the role. There are two very talented writers working on the screen play. But when he is a director, Rogen is not engaged. He wants to find someone who will bring something new to the table.

Overall, Rogen has to do.
