Comic Book Character Costumes

Comic Book Character CostumesTop Ten Comic Book Characters

There are thousands of cartoon characters in the existence of past and present. Many are well known while the majority are more obscure to the general public. And while the top ten lists are usually based on subjective opinion, there are some cartoon characters that will be discussed in this article that are worthy of this distinction by most standards. They are in random order.

Superman - He can not possibly be a dozen on the list of cartoon characters without Man of Steel. It is one of the first (probably first) superhero ever the world through four colors, and hence its history is one of the richest. It is also one of the most popular in both comic books and the world as perceived by the general public. It represents truth, justice, righteousness and morality. And while many are struggling to tell him, these same people are turning to its characteristics and admire his altruistic spirit.

Batman - Not entirely altruistic, but equally popular and loved is the Dark Knight. It can not always do the right thing or do the right thing, but his motives are always pure, and his intention is always clear. Its hero is a man who thinks, but it is also the hero of a warrior. It is well rounded and full, and a little rough, and that is why we love it.

Spider-Man - The Boy Next Door, the typical person, the urchin, a large majority of us can relate to that overcomes obstacles and becomes something great. Spider-Man gives us hope that we can achieve greatness in our own special way. He is truly a flagship and a true hero at heart, always trying to do the right thing, but many times they mess up horribly, which proves that he is still human, and thus endearing him more and more to our hearts.

Lex Luthor - The enemy of the "Blue Boyscout, Superman, Lex Luthor is all evil wrapped in silver and a great hurry, dress expensive. It is diabolically clever and vicious, and he never lets Supes sleep on the job. Cementing his legacy as one of the greatest villains of all time, Luthor wins our allegiance to the depth of his character and his Purpose Driven.

Captain America - perhaps not as popular in modern times as he was at the time of the Second World War during his first appearance on the comedy scene, but also a symbol of America and the cartoon classic Gold and Silver Age. Captain America is moved and how he sees the world a little differently than in the rest of us. He sees things as they should be in his mind, which is not always the most popular point of view. It is often presented as a Boy Scout, but honestly, it is much deeper than that, and that's where the appeal may be filed.

Wolverine - overused or not, Logan is one of the popular comic book characters as in existence today. When he first put on the stage of revitalization X-Men, he quickly gained a fan base because of the eternal difference he has brought to the table. It is not your typical hero doing good, but it is still fighting for good causes. He is temperamental, sometimes precarious, rough, raw and unpredictable. He is a loner with a heart of gold and a penchant for violence. It is an anti-hero who takes no shit, but at the same time, he cares deeply about those he surrounds himself. And it is this complexity that make it stand out in our minds.

Wonder Woman - The first widely received female superhero, Wonder Woman is by far the most popular female comic book character to date. She comes from a world where women are dominant, which gained its popularity in early women's liberation movement. It takes face-to-head and foot to foot with super-masculine heroes, and it is often seen. She is strong, beautiful, intelligent heroine and yet feminine with a costume that has become more symbolic.
