Comic Book Gifts

Can anyone recommend a "How To Make Comics" book for young people? My young nephew has expressed his interest in drawing, especially sequential art. I have a minor in sequential art school and I thought to give him my old text books as a gift, but they are too much for someone his age (9) Moreover, I still refer to them from time to time, and do not know if I want to separate! Haha

If you have any reccomendations for a book please let me know! And to clarify, no anime or manga please, we both are not fans of the style!

There are tons of "how to draw" books out there ... but it is much more informative.
