What was the name of the French actor who played a priest in a series of comic films many years ago? He was always in church and having little arguments with God. It was so good and so funny, but I do not remember his name or the name of the movie.
Fernandel, perhaps? He was French and played in a handful of French films in the 50s based on the character of Don Camillo in the books of Giovanni Guareschi.
lol hey i rememeber you no luck with Yahoo huh, darnn Umm I do not know the answer to ur question but if I had to take a guess I would say stupid seinfield Jerry? not right, but there
could be Louis de Funes
Are you sure you're not thinking of the Father. Guido Sarducci? I know his character was Italian, but .........
Perhaps Gerard Depardieu? it is still a French actor in a comedy role he played in "The Man in the Iron Mask" as one of the musketeers or whatever and "My Father the Hero"
Fernadel and he played Don Camillo.
The name of the film are Don Mon Camillio Lord. The actor in the films is Fernandel. He also starred in films like "The Prisoner and the cow." He and a gentlemen by the name of Louis de Funes (who plays a cop Ropez ST), are by far the best and funniest actors have been on the screen. This simple, yet smart jokes are historical. Nice to see that there are other fans of Fernandel. In fact, I flew to France because of its series last year. Best DVD purchase I've ever done, and well worth the 11-hour flight to France. I am honored to meet you!
