My Funny Valentine Students welcome, as all children have a natural inclination to go out and spend lots of money on design valentines with their favorite cartoon characters or toys shown on the box. Why spend all the money when you can make a custom map own house that we can love forever? Encourage your students at home to use their imagination in creating their own maps. Each child can develop their own style of creativity in their valentines. Also, make sure they understand that Valentine is not a secret crushes or flirting. Home schooling should understand that the holidays should be more about spreading the love of Christ and reflecting his sacrificial love of brotherly love for our fellows. Agape love is the name of the game here.
Now we'll start making our Valentine's Day. The easiest way to go about this is to be red, white, or pink construction paper and fold it in half. You can go the extra mile by reducing your card in the form of an animal, flower, heart or other design. So, grab some crayons, glitter, construction paper, string, glitter, sequins and other craft supplies to town, adding some personality to your card.
You can add more personality by using models of different fabrics and magazine clippings. Encourage your students at home to create collages of found images and words that evoke the spirit of St. Valentine. You can even make a small pocket for small gifts like a Hershey's Kiss or jewelry house. Add a few stamps, stencil writing and clip art to finish the package.
Top it with a biblical verses on love. This will ensure that the recipient understand the true message of Valentine's Day.
Once your cards are made, ask your students to school are home mailboxes shoe boxes to collect their valentines. If you belong to a home school co-op, which will contribute to a fun activity.
