What are the funniest sport accident you've ever seen? This is not an accident, but I thought it was pretty funny. A long time ago (early 80s), I was watching a pro football game. The defensive player has committed a flagrant foul in clear view of the arbitrators. When the game ended, the referee called a time out, calmly pulled his penalty flag, advanced to the offending player, and hid the flag in the grill of his helmet.
