at the Movies: The Incredible Hulk and Marvel Crossover Fun The blockbuster 2008 film, The Incredible Hulk, Hulk fans finally redeem their super-hero beloved. Many opinions on the movie indicate that the 2008 version was more faithful to the comic strip in the 2003 version.
Not only did the Hulk movie include staples to the Hulk universe such as Doc Samson and the Abomination, it also refers to other Marvel Comics superheroes such as Thor, Iron Man and Captain America. What? You have not seen these guys? This is not serious. These guys and others have been around the form of advice, allusions, and "Easter eggs". It is a great way to upcoming movies configuration as the Avengers, Thor and Captain America.
Here is the list Marvel crossover references if you missed:
* Allusion of Thor in the cave scene. A very powerful scene that reminded me of King Kong. Outside the cave, lighting and thunder raged. One of the bolts struck the Hulk took him to yell up to heaven in defiance of the elements. In the Marvel universe, Thor is the god of war and thunder and many fans saw this scene as the Incredible Hulk Thor measure, before a final confrontation.
* Stark Industries on documents in the opening sequence. Stark Industries is a manufacturer of weapons belonging to Tony Stark who also flies around Iron Man.
* Tony Stark Cameo (Robert Downey Jr.) at the end scene speaking to General Ross about a new team he has put together. The buzz online is that Stark refers to the formation of the Avengers.
* SHIELD name and logo on documents in the mounting opening. SHIELD is for the Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Division of Enforcement. It is "an extra-government intelligence and security organizations dedicated to the protection of nations and peoples of the Earth from all threats, terrestrial or extraterrestrial." (Marvel.com). SHIELD often works with the Avengers and is led by Nick Fury. Samuel L. Jackson made an appearance in Iron Man as Nick Fury.
* SHIELD logo can also be seen in the sequence e-mail when, from a gas station computer, Banner e-mail to Mr. Blue data from its experiences. Technology SHIELD intercepted the message.
* The blue serum that Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) into a super soldier references Captain America the first super soldier created by the Government of the United States during the Second World War.
* Serum blue lights Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) into a super soldier in the Hulk movie
* Super speed and agility Blonsky coupled with his military training and experience has demonstrated how Captain America would fare against an opponent much stronger than Hulk.
* The ability to heal Blonsky also demonstrates how Captain America could survived being frozen in the Arctic since the Second World War. In the comics, the Avengers found the body of Captain America frozen in a block of ice somewhere in the North Pole.
* Jim Wilson, one of the students interviewed by the news media to witness the battle between Hulk and the U.S. Army, is the nephew of Sam Wilson. Sam Wilson is a superhero known as the Falcon is a friend of Captain America. Jim Wilson, also appears as a sidekick of the Incredible Hulk in other issues.
* The blue serum is clearly labeled more weapons. This is a bit exaggerated, but the program that created Wolverine is called Weapons X. Wolverine first appeared in Incredible Hulk comic issue.
* Stan Lee cameo drinking soda gamma-laced and fall of poisoning. Marvel movies are known for cameos by Stan Lee.
* Stanley is the name of the pizza restaurant where Banner stay temporarily and where Betty has discovered on his return. The name is too close to Stan Lee to be dismissed as coincidence.
* Paul Soles playing.
