Famous directors who do not attend film school

Here is an article that details five famous directors, who all have one thing in common they have not spent a single day in the film school. They learned and became a master of their craft simple trial and error, self-learning and unshakable self-confidence and belief in themselves.

5. Fincher
Fincher is a filmmaker and Oscar-nominated American film music video known for its dark, elegant films like Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Fincher avoided the film school route, get a load of cameras jobs and doing other work practices for films of John Korty Korty. He was then hired by Industrial Light & Magic in 1980, where he worked on productions for Twice Upon a Time, The Return of the Jedi and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. 4. Jackson
Mr. Jackson is a three time Academy Award-winning New Zealand director, producer and screenwriter, known for The Lord of the Rings trilogy adapted from the novel by JRR Tolkien. It is also known for his 2005 remake of King Kong.
He won international attention early in his career with his "splatstick" horror comedies, before coming to the forefront the public with Heavenly Creatures, for which he shared a Best Screenplay nomination for the Academy with its partner Fran Walsh
Jackson has no training in film, but learned editing, special effects and makeup largely through his own trial and error. As a teenager, Jackson discovered the work of author JRR Tolkien, after seeing The Lord of the Rings (1978), an animated film by Ralph Bakshi, who was part adaptation of Tolkien's fantasy trilogy . After leaving school Jackson began working as a photoengraver newspaper company in Wellington, and shooting a vampire movie feature film that was later abandoned before completion.

3. Sir Ridley Scott
Scott is a British Academy Award and a Golden Globe nomination, an Emmy Award and BAFTA award winning director and producer known for his stylish visuals and an obsession for detail. His films include Alien, Blade Runner, Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Matchstick Men, Kingdom of Heaven, American Gangster and Body of Lies. At 28, Scott was a black and white short film, Boy and Bicycle, with his younger brother, Tony Scott and his father. The film's key visual elements would become characteristic of later work, Scott. Having completed more than 2,500 TV commercials, Ridley finally made his first feature film at age 40 making The Duellists . Can you believe it? 40 when he made his first feature film. If this is not inspiration to you, I do not know what is. You're never too old to become who you want be.

2. James Cameron
Mr. I'm the king of the world is an award-winning Canadian-American director, producer and screenwriter. He wrote and directed films as disparate as foreigners and Titanic. To date, its efforts have generated appropriate scene.
