The duo Grammy Award-winning New Zealand comedy composed of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, Flight of the Conchords, came forward as the New Zealand is the fourth group of popular folk-parody. The duo has found its niche by combining humor that ranges from the subtle to the bizarre with a variety of musical genres. Their eponymous debut album from Sub Pop Records killing fourteen songs from their acclaimed musical act up and hit HBO series.

The famous duo Flight of the Conchords formed in 1998. Since then, they have developed a cult following the mass. The group uses a combination of observation of mind, characterization, and acoustic folk guitar. The duo of comedy and music became the basis of a BBC radio series, then a television series, which premiered in 2007, also called Flight of the Conchords.

Flight of the Conchords created as part of a group of five men called So you're a man, Taika Waititi who understood and had a small suite, but faithful in New Zealand and Australia. They made their first television shows in four nights on Newtown salad, a show on Wellington Street in the short term local television station Channel 7, which was subsequently renamed WTV. In 2002 and 2003 they played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and were nominated for the Perrier Award in 2003. During their visit to Texas, they have recorded a documentary titled Flight of the Conchords: The Odyssey of Texas, which was broadcast on TV3 in New Zealand in late 2006. In the year 2007, the band performed on David Letterman Late Show, published in 2007 Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, and has also been interviewed by Terry Gross on NPR radio program Fresh Air. The year 2008 put a seal on their success as the February 10, 2008, the group won the Grammy for best comedy album for the distant future. The group of other accomplishments include numerous awards. James Poniewozik Time magazine named one of Top 5 new TV series in 2007, ranking it at # 2, while Entertainment Weekly called Flight of the Conchords show the best seventh in 2007.
