Star Wars Marvel Comics

I collect comic books and was just curious I could not figure out why he would marvel at the place after having highlighted problems of money there

The only logical explanation is: this time, notably over time, "Star Wars" was three years removed from the release of "The Return of the Jedi". There were few books out there on the saga, but I imagine that the diminished interest in the series. And more on this point, George Lucas was not interested in reviewing films until "The Thrawn Trilogy," written by Timothy Zahn, was released in early 1990.
