Writing Stand Up Comedy

I've always been interested in writing if I've started keeping a notebook of all the little stories I mean. The problem is that it begins to take the form of a stand up comedy routine, but I'm too afraid and ashamed to do.
Are there any other way for this particular style of comedy writing?

Many comedians use material written by others. I hope someone can provide the channels you want. I'm sure they exist. Good luck.
